Who is included in Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month?
Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebrates Americans with ethnic origins in a variety of countries. The U.S. Census Bureau defines Asian as “a person having origins in any of the original peoples of the Far East, Southeast Asia, or the Indian subcontinent including, for example, Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippine Islands, Thailand, and Vietnam.” Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander is defined as “a person having origins in any of the original peoples of Hawaii, Guam, Samoa, or other Pacific Islands.”

I brought home an advanced reader copy of A Tender Age from the library conference. I look forward to seeing what you think about it. It's interesting that R. F. Kuang has a new book out, and that the book is not a fantasy.
